Learning Objectives
- Describe the optimal strategies currently available to manage patients with BRCA hereditary breast cancer.
- Describe the differences in clinical utility between high penetrance genetic tests for breast cancer risk and low penetrance genomic variants associated with breast cancer risk.
- State at least 3 recommendations from the 2010 ASCO Policy Statement on Genetic and Genomic Testing for Cancer Susceptibility with relevance to the clinical management of women at risk of breast cancer.
