Learning Objectives

Compare rheumatoid arthritis (RA) patients and the general population in regard to risks for cardiovascular disease, pleuritis, nervous system disorders, ophthalmic disorders, and renal complications.

Describe the clinical management of RA patients in regard to these comorbid conditions.
