Researchers from Germany have discovered how a form of spectrometry, known as Matrix-Assisted Laser Desorption Ionization-Time of Flight mass spectrometry (MALDI-TOF), can provide a faster, more accurate diagnosis of urinary tract infections (UTIs) than the current standard.
