7/7/2010 - Most common vaccinations do not increase rheumatoid arthritis risk
Receiving common vaccinations does not increase an adult's risk of developing rheumatoid arthritis (RA), according to a study published in the July 5 online issue of the Annals of the Rheumatic Diseases.
6/29/2010 - Combination MMRV vaccine increases febrile seizure risk
Infants between the ages of 12 and 23 months who are administered the combination vaccine for measles, mumps, rubella and chickenpox (MMRV) are at a greater risk of febrile seizures compared with those that receive separate MMR and varicella vaccines (MMR+V) on the same day, according to a study published in the July 2010 issue of the journal Pediatrics.
