Emerging Perspectives and Highly-Focused CME for CardiologistsUpdates for Cardiologists

Updates for Cardiologists is a national initiative for cardiologists featuring live educational interventions of 90- to 120-minute case-based sessions each focusing on a different cardiology-related topic. The curriculum is based on demonstrated gaps in physicians' practice and is designed to change physician competence, performance and patient outcomes through a series of lectures and interactive learning modules. The core curriculum is focused on:

  • Clinical implications of recent pivotal trial data
  • Discussion of topics and issues most relevant to the practicing cardiologist
  • Practical insights you can apply immediately in practice

The techniques, treatments, and therapies you'll learn about today will improve your patients' care tomorrow.

The intimate audience size and roundtable room set facilitate a high level of interaction among and between attendees and faculty. Participants will also have the opportunity to ask questions specific to challenges encountered in their daily practice.

The intensive format allows expert faculty to present real-world clinical scenarios to the participants while soliciting their feedback and testing their knowledge throughout the learning process.

New for 2010

As part of the certified educational activity, attendees will be invited to a lunch symposium led by three distinguished cardiology leaders to discuss and learn how to apply emerging data and insights relative to cardiovascular care.

Seating is limited, we recommend that you register today.

Educational Grants

To date, the following organizations have provided educational grants in support of this Pri-Med activity: Merck & Co., Inc., and sanofi-aventis.
