Biography

Stuart Abramson, MD, PhD, is an active clinician, researcher, and teacher. He has served as principal investigator on several federal grants involving asthma and as Associate Director for Clinical Research and Health Professional Education for the Children's Asthma Center at Texas Children's Hospital. He is currently President of the Greater Houston Allergy Society, Secretary/Treasurer for the Texas Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology Society, and a Leadership Council Member for the American Lung association of the Central States. His work in medical education includes current service as Chair of the Continuing Medical Education Committee for the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology and for Texas Children's Hospital, both independent CME providers.
