Biography

Dr Mary Barber specializes in public psychiatry administration and LGBT mental health. She is clinical assistant professor of psychiatry at the Columbia University Medical Center, clinical director of the Rockland Psychiatric Center, and serves on the voluntary faculty of the Public Psychiatry Fellowship. Dr Barber is past president of the Association of Gay and Lesbian Psychiatrists, and current co-editor-in-chief of the Journal of Gay and Lesbian Mental Health. She is also chair of the fellowship committee of the Group for Advancement of Psychiatry.
