Biography

Sarah E. Barlow, MD, Associate Professor of Pediatrics, Baylor College of Medicine, received her medical degree from The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Dallas, Texas, MPH degree from Harvard University, Boston, Massachusetts, and completed her internship and residency in pedicatics with Brown University Program in Medicine, Providence, Rhode Island. She is board certified in pediatrics and pediatric gastroenterology. She recently joined the faculty at Baylor College of Medicine from Saint Louis University School of Medicine, where she directed the Cardinal Glennon Weight Management Program. Dr. Barlow's research interests include obesity in children and adolescents, health outcomes measurement in children, and liver disease in overweight children and adolescents. Currently she is supported by a grant from the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality to study obesity care in pediatric office settings.
