Biography

Dr. Chang graduated from Rutgers University College of Pharmacy as Class Valedictorian. She received her MD at Columbia University College of Physician & Surgeons in New York City and completed her residency at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in Internal Medicine. After serving as Chief Medical Resident, she joined the faculty in the Division of General Medicine. Since 2002, she has served as Assistant Division Chief for Education and as one of the Associate Program Directors for the Medicine House Staff Program. Dr. Chang is the recipient of several teaching awards, including the Teacher of the Year Award in Ambulatory Medicine, the Department of Medicine Junior Faculty of the Year Award, the Daniel V. Kimberg Memorial Junior Faculty Teaching Award, and a Ewig Clinical Education Fellowship.
