Biography

Dr. Joe Chorley is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics of Baylor College of Medicine in the Section of Adolescent Medicine and Sports Medicine. He is the Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship Director and loves teaching clinical sports medicine. He is the Team Physician for 3 high schools and 1 college, where he provides game coverage and training room for all athletes at the school. He cares for patients at TCH Main Campus and Health Centers and through the Baylor Teen Clinics at 4 school-based clinics. He is very involved in the Houston running community and is the Associate Medical Director for the Houston Marathon and Texas Children's Fun Run and is Medical Director for the Susan Komen Race for the Cure. His research is in the area of endurance sports injuries and fluid/electrolyte balance.
