Dr. Yvonne Chu is an Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at the Cullen Eye Institute and Baylor College of Medicine. She received her Medical Degree and completed Ophthalmology Residency at Baylor College of Medicine. She joined the Baylor Faculty and was appointed Chief of Ophthalmology at Ben Taub Hospital in July 2003; practiced comprehensive ophthalmology for 7 years and later completed a one year clinical fellowship subspecializing in glaucoma at the Devers Eye Institute and Casey Eye Institute of Oregan Health & Science University in Portland, Oregon. Since returning to Baylor in 2011, she continues to serve as Chief of Ophthalmology at Ben Taub Hospital, and now specializes in the medical and surgical treatment for glaucoma in adults, and cataract surgery combined with glaucoma interventions including minimally invasive glaucoma surgery.
