Biography

Dr. Cohn is an Associate Professor of Surgery at Harvard Medical School and a staff cardiothoracic surgeon at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center where he is the Director of Minimally Invasive Cardiothoracic Surgery. His research interests lie in the development of new instrumentation and procedures to decrease the invasiveness of cardiac surgery. In 2000, Dr. Cohn was the recipient of the IPOA Distinguished Inventor of the Year Award.
