Dr. Joslyn W. Fisher graduated from Tufts University with a BA in political science and a certificate in community health. She completed medical school and residency training at Baylor College of Medicine and received her MPH at the University of Texas School of Public Health. She is Associate Professor of Medicine and Medical Ethics at Baylor College of Medicine and Associate Chief of the Section of General Medicine at Ben Taub Hospital. Her academic focus is on women’s health and in particular intimate partner and sexual violence. She runs a clinic for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. Dr. Fisher has presented locally, regionally, and nationally on her work.
