Biography

Dr. Grant Fowler is Professor and Vice Chair, Department of Family and Community Medicine at The University of Texas Medical School at Houston and Assistant Chief of Family Medicine at Memorial Hermann Hospital, Houston Texas. Dr. Fowler attended The University of Texas Medical School at Houston and completed a residency at The University of Texas Medical School at Houston. Dr. Fowler is board certified in the areas of Family Practice, Sports Medicine and Geriatrics. Dr. Fowler has been published in various scientific journals, including Family Medicine and Archives of Family Medicine and also serves as a reviewer for both of those publications. He has authored over 200 articles or chapters on medical issues confronting the primary care physician. Dr. Fowler is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians and has been honored as one of the "Best Doctors in America" several years.
