Biography

Dr Lloret attended Medical School in her native Argentina and then went on to pursue a post-graduate degree in Basic Immunology at the University of Alberta, Canada. She moved to the US in 1998 where she completed a Pediatric Residency followed by a fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. She is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at UCLA and the Director of the Allergy/Immunology training Program. Her research interests encompass basic and clinical aspects of allergic disorders in children. She has over 30 peer reviewed publications in the field, including the authorship of two food allergy-focused chapters in the latest edition of Rudolph's Pediatrics.
