Biography

Dr. Hong is the Program Director of the Georgetown University Internal Medicine Residency Program at the Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C. A Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at Georgetown University School of Medicine, he has had an extensive career in medical education. He has also practiced as a primary care physician and a hospitalist, and has been a hospital clinical informatics officer. Over the past four years, Dr. Hong has made several presentations in the technology area at the American College of Physicians' Annual Sessions. While his interest in medical informatics is broad, he has particular expertise in the use of handheld computers in medical practice.
