Biography

Lawrence C. Newman, MD, is a Clinical Professor of Neurology at the NYU Langone School of Medicine and the Director of the Division of Headache at NYU Langone Medical Center. Prior to joining NYU, Dr Newman was the Director of the Headache Institute at Mount Sinai Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York City from 1998 until 2016. Dr Newman completed his Neurology Residency and Chief Residency at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx New York. He did his Fellowship in Headache at the Montefiore Headache Center in the Bronx, as well. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Neurology and the American Headache Society. His is also the Immediate Past President of the American Headache Society.
