Biography

Dr. Olsen is a Geriatric Psychiatrist and Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine. He received his MD from the Ohio State University College of Medicine and his JD/MBA degrees from the University of Miami, Schools of Law and Business. For the past 5 years he has volunteered as the Co-Director of the Miami VA Healthcare System’s Medical/Legal Clinic, which has served over 300 Veterans with legal issues. He is a member of the American Academy of Psychiatry and the Law (AAPL), the Florida Bar, and the American Bar Association.
