Biography

Susan J. Rehm, MD, vice chair of the Department of Infectious Disease, is executive director for Physician Health at Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. She earned her medical degree from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine, Omaha, Nebraska, after which she completed a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in infectious diseases at Cleveland Clinic. Dr Rehm is a professor of medicine at Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University. During her service as medical director of the National Foundation for Infectious Diseases, Dr Rehm developed expertise in adult immunizations. In particular, she is interested in creating systems to make every patient encounter an opportunity to vaccinate.
