Biography

Dr. Saver is Professor of Neurology and Neurology Director of the Stroke Center at the David Geffen School of Medicine, University of California, Los Angeles. He currently serves as chair of the American Stroke Association's Stroke Scientific Statement Oversight Committee; principal investigator of the NIH-NINDS funded Field Administration of Stroke Magnesium (FAST-MAG) clinical trial; associate editor of the online textbooks Medlink Neurobase and Emedicine Neurology; and Co-Chair of the UCLA Stroke PROTECT systematic secondary prevention program.
