Biography

Kelly Sidhpura grew up in southern California with two pediatrician parents who inspired her curiosity in the field of medicine. She attended UC San Diego for her undergraduate studies where she majored in Psychology and obtained a minor in Health Care Social Issues. She then moved to the Caribbean island of Dominica where she attended Ross University School of Medicine and received her MD degree. Dr. Sidhpura returned to her beloved southern California to complete her pediatric residency training at Harbor UCLA Medical Center and has been a pediatric hospitalist at Mattel Children’s Hospital UCLA for the past year. She has developed a passion for teaching young physicians and medical students and has become the liaison between the emergency and the pediatric departments at UCLA. She is currently working on a quality improvement study with her colleagues at UCLA on physician communication with Spanish speaking patients and families. She and her husband reside in Marina del Rey.
