Welcome to Pri-Med
Pri-Med represents an active and engaged community of over 300,000 healthcare professionals who share a common goal of lifelong learning to advance patient care. Pri-Med was founded on the premise that medical knowledge is global, but the delivery is local. We strive to improve patient care one marketplace at time by offering collaborative and transparent learning environments and online activities and resources. Nationwide conferences seek to transform the live medical meeting and rethink how professional learning is conceptualized, delivered and exchanged.
To more effectively help the healthcare community deliver quality patient care, Pri-Med presents practitioners with opportunities to engage with their peers, expert faculty and facilitate information exchange across multiple live and new media platforms. Pri-Med collaborates with leading associations, academic medical centers and educational institutions to bring the latest information to the Pri-Med community to enable them to address patient needs.

Live Meetings
Pri-Med prides itself on providing a diverse online community with a local, live presence. The organization engages more than 50,000 primary care physicians (PCP) at face-to-face events held annually in 40 cities across the U.S. At these events, PCPs attend scientific and case-based sessions on a wide range of disease topics that reflect trends in daily practice.
Pri-Med’s faculty network is more than 1,500 strong with renowned faculty at the front lines of disease diagnosis and management, as well as specialist physicians with a robust knowledge of specific therapeutic areas.
Partnerships
To bring relevant and valuable information to clinicians, Pri-Med collaborates with dozens of integral professional organizations including academic institutions, clinician associations, patient groups and medical education companies to identify knowledge gaps and develop innovative curriculums that empower clinicians and improve patient care. Pri-Med’s professional partnerships include a wide range of companies and associations which can be found here.
Driving Digital Learning and Access
As clinicians’ access to information rapidly expands, so do the expectations of quality content and education at the point of care. Pri-Med.com, the leading online resource available to PCPs for clinical and non-clinical information, has more than 250,000 registered clinician members with 65,000 monthly visitors.
This year, Pri-Med aims to offer more professional medical education online. Virtual learning will become even more user-friendly with a continued focus on quality education tailored to the needs of a clinician’s practice and designed to facilitate more informed decisions that improve patient outcomes.
With two-thirds of physicians using smart phones, Pri-Med recently launched a free mobile application for the Apple iPhone®, iPod Touch®, and Android™, providing a platform for our clinician community to exchange ideas with peers and participate in medical case challenges, while hearing from world-renowned faculty via short, audio webcasts designed for portable access.
The Future of Healthcare Delivery
As patient healthcare evolves to a team-based approach where all stakeholders (patients, doctors, allied health professionals, pharmacists, etc) work together to optimize patient outcomes, Pri-Med is committed to developing education programs to help support the team in delivering coordinated care.
