Pri-Med Application for iPhone® and iPod touch®
We strive to give you new and convenient ways to access medical news and portable CME activities, and to find the nearest educational conference in a flash. That's why we developed an application for the iPhone and iPod touch.
Getting Started
When you first access the app, please read and agree to our Terms of Use. Then, enter your contact information. Providing this information allows you to set preferences for things like e-mail and other communications with Pri-Med. The more information the app knows about you, the more customized your CME recommendations will be in the future.
CME Recommendations Based on Your Location
The app brings medical news and Pri-Med information most important to you right to your fingertips. By using your iPhone's GPS or iPod touch Wi-Fi connection, the app automatically finds the closest CME conference near you.
Finding the Right CME Meeting Just Got Easier
Touch “Find a Meeting” to pull up a list of available conferences. Register by calling on your iPhone or via the Web site on the iPod touch. Preview the educational syllabus (available 1 week before the meeting), and view featured sessions and faculty.
Turn-by-Turn Driving Directions from Google Maps
If you're on the way to a Pri-Med conference, use the app to look up the meeting’s address, hotel phone number, and even get door-to-door Google Maps driving directions.
Knowledge You Can Take Anywhere
Pri-Med is partnering with world-class educators to bring portable CME activities right to your mobile device. CME comes in a range of formats, such as expert perspectives, case studies, evaluation tests, and audio lectures. Receive credit by passing post-tests on Pri-Med.com.
Medical News to Keep You Up-to-Date
The News section provides timely and concise summaries from peer-reviewed
medical journals and meetings.

- When you click on a link from the Pri-Med app, it may bring you to the Pri-Med Web site.
- We realize that the Pri-Med.com Web site is not yet optimized for the iPhone, so while it functions, it may require some patience when logging in and typing on the keypad.
- For the best experience with this first release of the application, register for meetings on your iPhone by clicking the Register button and calling our toll-free phone number 866-263-3067 (Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–9:00 PM ET). Let the Pri-Med customer service member know that you're using the iPhone application.
Tips for iPod touch Users
- To use the Pri-Med app on the iPod touch, you must be connected to the internet via a Wi-Fi hotspot, like one you may have in your home or at a coffee shop.
- When you've found the meeting you want to register for, we recommend picking up your phone and calling our toll free number. The meeting information will be in front of you ready for the customer service representative ensuring the fastest call possible. Let them know you're using the iPod touch application.
