Pri-Med is seeking a Sales Specialist to join our team! This individual’s primary responsibilities are developing new industry verticals (e.g. Telemedicine, Medical App developers, accountable care organizations, etc), and maintaining healthy relationships with existing clients. The Sales Specialist needs to understand emerging areas of interest/need to practicing primary care doctors, to be able to effectively communicate Pri-Med’s value to the companies who want to reach them. S/he spends approximately 20% of his/her time conducting face-to-face sales meetings with clients, with the balance of time spent developing new prospects through in-house sales activities. S/he is always available to the client and identifies new business opportunities, customers, markets and potential products. A significant portion of annual compensation and growth is based on achieving revenue targets, so timely and accurate reporting of pipeline opportunities is critical.
Successful candidates will have a bachelor’s degree, one to three years of business-to-business sales experience, preferably in a healthcare or conference-related organization, and the following skills:
- Sales prospecting experience, including cold calling
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
- Experience with Excel, PowerPoint and CRM systems
