Biography

Dr. David Aguilar received his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine. He subsequently completed his internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School. He currently serves as an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Department of Cardiology at Baylor College of Medicine. He has advanced training in echocardiography. He has authored or co-authored multiple abstracts, peer-reviewed journal articles, review articles and book chapters, and is the principal investigator, co-investigator, and national coordinator for multiple clinical trials examining potential mechanisms and therapies to lower burden of cardiovascular.
