Biography

Dr. Marvin E. Ament is Chief of the Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition at UCLA Medical Center and Distinguished Professor of Pediatrics in the UCLA School of Medicine. Dr. Ament is considered to be one of the founders of the specialty of pediatric gastroenterology. He is affiliated with Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara, Ventura County Medical Center in Ventura, California, and Kern County Medical Center in Bakersfield, California.
