Biography

Jennifer Bever has helped large and small medical practices select and implement practice management and electronic medical record systems. She has taught office staff how to use the Internet to improve billing and collections, and has shown physicians how to use PDAs to capture their charges. Ms. Bever has spoken widely on information technology topics. Recent engagements include a series of dinner meetings organized by Medical Economics magazine to update primary care physicians on the latest in technology and a course offered by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons to teach physicians "How to Reduce Overhead Using Technology." Ms. Bever also serves as an instructor in practice management seminars for the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and the Association of Otolaryngology Administrators. Ms. Bever earned her MS degree in Health Services Administration from Rush University in Chicago. She also holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
