Biography

Dr. Chaturvedi received his medical degree from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and his neurology residency at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center. He has co-edited two books on Transient Ischemic Attacks and Carotid Artery Stenosis. He has been co-author of several guidelines for the American Stroke Association and American Academy of Neurology (AAN). These include guidelines related to transient ischemic attacks, carotid endarterectomy, stroke prevention with atrial fibrillation, and primary prevention of stroke. Dr. Chaturvedi serves as vice-chair for the AAN vascular neurology section.
