Biography

Dr. Carla M. Davis is Director of the Food Allergy Program specialist at Texas Children’s Hospital in the Allergy and Immunology Section of the Department of Pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine. After finishing a three year residency program in pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas in 2000, she completed a two year fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at Baylor College of Medicine. She is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics and Allergy/Immunology Section at Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Davis is published in the area of food allergies with a focus in underlying immune mechanisms of IgE and non-IgE mediated diseases and educational interventions for schools. Dr. Davis is focused on improving the quality of life for infants, children and adolescents with food allergies. She is ultimately committed to finding causes and cures for food allergy related diseases.
