Biography

Patrick Dowling MD, MPH, is professor of clinical family medicine and chair of the UCLA Department of Family Medicine. He previously served as chair of the Department of Family Medicine at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. He completed his residency training at Cook County Hospital in Chicago. He is board certified in Family Medicine and Preventive Medicine and Public Health and served as Commissioner of Public Health for the LA County Department of Health Services from 2000-2005.
