Biography

Dr. DuPont has spent 40 years in research on microbiology, immunology, prevention and treatment of diarrhea working on four world continents. He has served as president of the Infectious Diseases Society of America, the National Foundation for Infectious Diseases, the American Clinical and Climatological Association and was the Founding President of the International Society of Travel Medicine. He currently serves as a consultant to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and has authored or co-authored more than 730 peer-reviewed scientific publications and 19 books.
