Biography

Dr. Kenneth V. Giacobbo, the founder of HomeVisit Physicians, is a board certified internist. He earned a B.S. degree in Biology from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, PA. and he received his medical degree from Kansas City University of Medicine & Biosciences. He completed a 1 year rotating internship at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Chester, PA and a 3 year Internal Medicine residency at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, NJ. He is a member of the American College of Physicians, the American Osteopathic Association, the Medical Society of NJ, the American Academy of Home Care Physicians and the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine. During his 20 years in private practice Dr. Giacobbo has developed a keen appreciation for the hardships endured by senior and homebound patients and their families. He realized that often the patient’s requiring the most care were also those having the most difficulty making routine visits to the doctor’s office. In an effort to ease some of the burdens associated with chronic illness and aging and to allow for a more convenient way for patients to achieve proper and necessary health care, Dr. Giacobbo has dedicated his practice solely to home care visits.
