Biography

Robert C. Hendel, MD is currently the Director of Cardiac Imaging at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, where he is a Professor of Medicine and Radiology. He has served at the national level as the President of the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology and President of the Cardiovascular Council of the Society of Nuclear Medicine and has been a member of the American College of Cardiology Task Force for Appropriate Use and has authored multiple papers on appropriateness and quality.
