Biography

Ka-Kit Hui, MD, FACP, is a professor in the Department of Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, and the Founding Director of the UCLA Center for East-West Medicine. Dr. Hui's vision of education, clinical care, and research is to transform healthcare and improve health and quality of life by blending the best of both Chinese and Western medicine. His special interests are prevention of illness and promotion of health through the development of a healthcare model that is effective, safe, affordable, and accessible for people, families, and communities worldwide. Dr. Hui, a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, is board-certified in internal medicine and clinical pharmacology, with expertise in geriatrics.
