Biography

Stephen Kanne, PhD is an Associate Professor and Director of the Autism Center in the Department of Pediatrics, Psychology Section at Baylor College of Medicine. In addition to overseeing the various clinics at Texas Children's Hospital's Autism Center, Dr. Kanne's primary clinical activities involve assessing children suspected of having an Autistic Spectrum Disorder and providing general, outpatient pediatric neuropsychological services. His current research interests focus on children with Autistic Spectrum Disorders, targeting diagnostic tools, behavioral phenotyping, co-occurring symptoms, evidence-based therapies, and subthreshold symptoms.
