Biography

Daniela Kroshinsky, MD MPH graduated summa cum laude from Northwestern University Honors Program in Medical Education. She received her Medical Degree from Northwestern University School of Medicine, where she was inducted to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society, and her Masters of Public Health from the Harvard School of Public Health. She completed her internship at Yale-New Haven Hospital where she received the Preliminary Intern of the Year award and her residency training at SUNY Downstate University where she served as Chief Resident. Presently, Dr. Kroshinsky is an attending physician in dermatology at the Massachusetts General Hospital and MassGeneral Hospital for Children where she serves as the Director of Inpatient Dermatology and the Director of Pediatric Dermatology. She is a board-certified dermatologist specializing in complex medical dermatology in the outpatient and hospital setting. She is an Associate Professor of Dermatology at Harvard Medical School where she greatly enjoys teaching. Professionally, Dr. Kroshinsky is a member of several local and national dermatologic societies, including the American Academy of Dermatology, Society of Investigative Dermatology, and American Dermatological Association. She is past-President of the Medical Dermatology Society and Vice President of the Society of Dermatology Hospitalists. She is a member of the editorial boards for several professional journals including Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, JAMA Dermatology, Dermatologic Surgery and Pediatric Dermatology. Dr. Kroshinsky is very involved in the education of both residents and medical students and has received multiple teaching and mentorship awards including the the Harvard Combined Dermatology Residency Program Teaching Award, Harvard Medicine-Pediatrics Mentorship Award, and the Stanley Wyman Internal Medicine Teaching Award. She is an active researcher and has been awarded the several research grants, including the Dermatology Foundation Medical Dermatology Career Development Award, resulting in the authorship of many medical publications and opportunities to speak locally, nationally, and internationally on her findings.
