Biography

Dr. Martinello is an adult and pediatric infectious diseases specialist and associate professor at the Yale School of Medicine. He received his medical degree from Loyola University Chicago and completed his residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at the Indiana University School of Medicine. He completed adult and pediatric infectious diseases fellowship training at the Yale School of Medicine and is board certified in both specialties. Dr. Martinello is the medical director of the Infection Prevention Department at Yale New Haven Hospital, and his research interests include respiratory virus infections, disinfection, and the prevention of healthcare-associated infections.
