Biography

Dr Gerald Smetana is a general internist in the Division of General Medicine and Primary Care at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. He is a Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. His teaching and scholarly interests include hypertension, headache, preoperative evaluation, and evidence based history taking. He is the recipient of the Society of General Internal Medicine national award for scholarship in medical educations, and is a Master of the American College of Physicians.
