Biography

Christopher J. Visco, M.D., FAAPMR, RMSK is the Ursula Corning Associate Professor and Vice Chair of Education in the Department of Rehabilitation and Regenerative Medicine at Columbia University Medical Center. He is the Residency Program Director for the NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital Columbia/Cornell PM&R program and Sports Medicine Fellowship Director. He is board certified in PM&R, Sports Medicine, and is a registered musculoskeletal sonographer. Dr. Visco has delivered numerous lectures nationally and internationally. He has edited a textbook, is a peer-reviewer for multiple journals and has been a regional, national and international course director multiple times. He specializes in sports and musculoskeletal medicine, diagnostic and interventional musculoskeletal ultrasound, and medical education.
