During this presentation, Dr. Giles Whalen, a Surgical Oncologist, will review which patients are at highest risk for developing pancreatic cancer and how primary care providers can assist those patients. Dr. Whalen will also review which patients should be referred for genetic counseling or to a high risk screening program for pancreatic cancer surveillance. Dr. Tom King will then provide an overview of the IMMray® PanCan-d test, a blood test for the early detection of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma in individuals at high risk for developing familial or hereditary pancreatic cancer.
