Biography

Dr. Poddar serves as Director of the Primary Care Sports Medicine Program at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. He is an Associate Professor in the Departments of Orthopedics and Family Medicine. His clinical expertise includes non-operative management of acute and chronic musculoskeletal injury. He has extensive knowledge and experience in treatment strategies for osteoarthritis. Dr. Poddar also serves as Medical Director and Head Medical Team Physician for the University of Colorado Buffaloes. He has been appointed to leadership roles for the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine and has served on the NCAA's Committee on Competitive Safeguards and Medical Aspects of Sport.
