This session highlights the essential role primary care providers play in the frontline management of major depressive disorder (MDD). It will review the challenges associated with unresolved symptoms despite antidepressant therapy and discuss what is at stake when symptoms persist. The program will summarize clinical data and considerations for incorporating an adjunctive atypical antipsychotic for adults with MDD.
