Things to Do in Anaheim
While in Anaheim for the CME/CE conference, explore the city’s lively resort district, stroll through Downtown Disney’s shops and restaurants, or catch the energy of the Anaheim Packing District’s food hall. If time allows, take a short trip to Los Angeles to experience its beaches, neighborhoods, and cultural landmarks. Los Angeles is easily accessible, with frequent service on the Amtrak Pacific Surfliner (about 40–45 minutes from Anaheim to Union Station) and Metrolink Orange County Line, along with convenient driving options.
Must-Visit Attractions
While clinicians are in Anaheim for Pri-Med’s CME/CE conference in April 2027, the Disneyland Resort offers a world-famous day (or evening) out just minutes from the convention center. The Anaheim Packing District, a restored citrus packing house turned food hall, is a local favorite for casual dining. For an excursion, Los Angeles’ Santa Monica Pier and Hollywood landmarks provide a classic Southern California experience.

You can earn AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™, AANP, and CA Board of Registered Nursing contact hours of continuing education at our CME/CE conference near Los Angeles, CA. AANP pharmacology credits will be awarded based on the pharmacology content of the courses you attend. Pri-Med also works with the AAFP to determine Live AAFP Prescribed credits.
Coffee is provided each morning outside the session rooms and water stations are located throughout the venue. Food options include a limited number of boxed lunches provided by Pri-Med at the Industry Theaters and additional concessions offered for purchase by the venue.
The early-bird registration rate is $129. After the early-bird deadline on Friday, February 5, 2027, the registration rate is $165. Medical students and residents are welcome to register at no cost, but CME/CE credits will not be awarded to these registrants.
Industry Theater tickets can be added to your existing registration beginning approximately six weeks before the medical conference.
- Log in to the Registration Resource Center with your Badge ID and click View your registration.
- Select the Ticketed Events that you would like to attend during the conference, then complete the checkout process.
- That’s it! Your tickets will print out with your conference badge when you check in at the medical conference in Anaheim.
So that we can provide all Pri-Med attendees with the optimal learning environments, children over the age of two are not permitted at the conference. Accommodations will be made for new mothers.
Anaheim is approximately 25 to 30 miles southeast of downtown Los Angeles. Without traffic, the drive takes about 35 to 45 minutes via I-5 South. During peak commute hours, allow 1.5 hours or more. If you’re flying into LAX, the Anaheim Convention Center is roughly 35 miles away, and Orange County’s John Wayne Airport (SNA) is only about 15 miles from Anaheim, which may be a more convenient option for some attendees.
Yes. Pri-Med West is designed to help California clinicians satisfy their CME/CE requirements, including state-required topics. Attendees can earn up to 23.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™, or 23.00 AANP contact hours (including 5.00+ pharmacology hours), or AAFP Prescribed Credits, or 23.00 California Board of Registered Nursing contact hours.
