Biography

Currently serving as the co-director of the TAVR program, Dr. Aksoy is also involved in the UCLA Mitraclip program as well as advanced revascularization programs. He completed his undergraduate and medical education at Duke University. He then went on to complete his Internal Medicine training at Johns Hopkins University before focusing on Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology at the Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Aksoy joined UCLA faculty in 2013 and also has been involved in patient care and the development of clinical research programs.
