Biography

Dr. Bade, an internist, has an extensive background in the use of mobile computers in health care. He has helped deploy PDAs and Tablet PCs to attending physicians, residents, medical students, pharmacists, nurses and other health-care providers. He currently serves as the Assistant Vice President for Clinical IT Strategies at MedStar Health (a not-for-profit group of 7 hospitals in the Maryland and Washington, DC area). Dr. Bade holds a masters' degree in biomedical informatics from the Health Sciences and Technology Division of Harvard and MIT, where his masters' thesis addressed mobile solutions for physicians.
