Biography

Dr. Biviano is a cardiac electrophysiologist whose area of expertise includes the diagnosis and treatment of patients with complex heart rhythm irregularities. He has clinical and research interests in catheter and device based managements of arrhythmias including ablation of complex arrhythmias including atrial fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia, as well as the use of implantable pacemakers and defibrillators. Dr. Biviano is board certified in Cardiovascular Medicine and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology and has been named "Best Doctor" in US News and World Report and "Top Doctor" in New York Magazine. He has been awarded a National Institute of Health research grant in the area of atrial fibrillation ablation and has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles in the field of cardiac electrophysiology.
