Biography

Dr. Jim Blaine is the Medical Director for the Ozarks Technical Community College Health & Wellness Clinic in Springfield, MO. Dr. Blaine chairs the Greene County Medical Society's Community Health Advisory Committee and the Missouri State Medical Association's Public Affairs Commission. He received his medical degree from University of Oklahoma College of Medicine and has been in practice for 41 years. As a Family Physician for the last 15 years, Dr. Blaine is very aware that most cardiovascular disease can be prevented. For the past several years, Dr. Blaine has been a provider champion for the Million Hearts Program. The Million Hearts program seeks to coordinate and encourage ASHD prevention and Dr. Blaine has been instrumental in that effort.
