Biography
Dr. Marcy B. Bolster is a Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. She obtained a BA degree in Chemistry and her MD from Duke University. She trained in Internal Medicine at the Eastern Virginia Graduate School of Medicine and obtained rheumatology training at the Medical University of South Carolina. She is the Director of the Rheumatology Fellowship Training Program in the Division of Rheumatology, Allergy and Immunology at the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH). She has devoted her career to medical education. She has held leadership roles with the ACR, ABIM, and ACGME. She is the recipient of the ACR Distinguished Program Director Award (2019), the Mass General Brigham Outstanding Program Director Award (2019), and the Arthritis Foundation Marian Ropes Lifetime Achievement Award (2021).
