Biography

Eric Buch practices Cardiac Electrophysiology as an Assistant Professor in the Cardiac Arrhythmia Center at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine. He has an active clinical practice focused on catheter ablation of complex arrhythmias, and directs the Specialized Program for Treatment of Atrial Fibrillation at UCLA. He is active in research, and has published clinical and translational studies on mechanisms of atrial fibrillation, novel approaches to catheter ablation, and device therapy in the treatment of cardiac disease. He also has a strong interest in medical education, lecturing both within and outside the university to nurses, residents, fellows, and practicing physicians. He was trained at Stanford, UCSD, Washington University in St. Louis, and UCLA.
