Kasumi Arakawa Endowed Professor Department of Anesthesiology, Pain and Perioperative Medicine University of Kansas Medical Center Overland Park, KS Andrea Chadwick, MD is the Kasumi Arakawa Endowed Professor of Anesthesiology, Pain, and Perioperative Medicine at The University of Kansas Medical Center and a board-certified Anesthesiologist in The University of Kansas Health System. Dr. Chadwick earned her BA in Human Biology at the University of Kansas, and her medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine. She went on to complete her Anesthesiology residency at The University of California, Los Angeles, and Dr. Chadwick continued her specialty training by completing a fellowship in Pain Medicine, also at UCLA. Double board-certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine, Dr. Chadwick is a Clinician Scientist (MSc), with clinical expertise and focus on complex nociplastic pain syndromes including fibromyalgia. She is a frequent contributor to the scientific literature, serves on the editorial boards of peer-reviewed journals including Pain Medicine, and is a highly sought-after speaker at regional, national, and international conferences.
